I went to see Pierce first in 1985 or so. His first album was produced by Philip Glass.

I think he's one of the best poets in music besides Bob Dylan. I have listened to him in my studio forever.

Too bad he's not better known.

Philip played a new song with him called Yogi with a Broken Heart. Later the Scorchio Quartet joined him who are great also.
