Denver Art Museum, August 7 2008


The Architecture has receded somewhat from the last time I saw it. They still are working on it.


The Oldenberg Sculpture is just plain ridiculous.








Yes, Cliford would be full of his characteristic indignation. The installation of his painting on this angled wall worst than the Guggenheim--

And illusionistic lighting, almost spooky--







Here's a better picture of the Aztec, I think-- vase I was describing in previous post. They have a lot of great vases and this strange Keith Haring like one which is fun as I just saw a vase in Santa Fe by an Indian influenced by Haring-- the other way around.
